The M906 Range
The next step up from the M904 range, these replicas are designed and built to be inexpensive with quality externals and offering an internal build quality more typically found in more expensive RIFs. The M906 Range is constructed from an aluminium alloy receiver set with CNC metal rail systems and polymer furniture. Internally they use DE’s “Falcon” Version 2 gearbox and rotary hop unit. This pairing of solid externals and internals makes for an ideal AEG for many, whether you are on a budget or wanting something with future potential.
The DE M906D
The ‘D’ variant is a longer than average replica with an overall length of 71.5cm (28.3””) including a 12” rail system and Slimline Stock. These features make this RIF desirable for those who like slightly longer AR’s with more space for accessory placement. The downside to this length of RIF is it will be more challenging to use in close quarters environments but will be more consistent at medium to longer ranges.

The Internals
The M906 Range uses DE’s “Falcon” Version 2 Gearbox which features a Quick Change Spring system and the Falcon Electronic Control System. This Control System gives you the ability to adjust the trigger sensitivity (3 Options) and change the fire modes (Binary option for the Semi position and 1-5rnd Burst for the auto position) as well as having built in motor and battery protection. Outside of these features, this Version 2 Gearbox uses 8mm Ball Bearings alongside standard Version 2 components. This is paired with DE’s rotary hop up unit with a standard AEG hop rubber and nub set up.
These internals give good reliable performance with the added benefit of a control system and where this gearbox is compatible with numerous after market parts, you have the ability to upgrade and further enhance the characteristics you desire in the future.
