Who are Double Eagle?
Known by many for their inexpensive and quality range of replicas, Double Eagle have excelled at offering budget replicas with a high internal build quality. Offering an ever expanding variety of AR15 replicas with their M904, M906, M907 and M908 Ranges, they also have several unique models alongside some officially licensed replicas. The external construction of these replicas are always solid but do vary between aluminium alloy and nylon reinforced polymer or a mixture of the two. Internally they all use DE’s Version 2 gearbox with a quick change spring system and typically either DE’s ‘Falcon’ or Eshooters ‘Kestral’ control systems and is rounded off with a solid rotary hop unit.
The DE M920A
The M920A is an officially licensed replica of the Aeroknox AX//15 rifle. Like its real steel counterpart, this replica by Double Eagle has all the correct styling, including unique 10.5” rail system, muzzle device and receiver design all constructed of metal. These features come alongside a slimline stock, ambidextrous controls, flat trigger and flip up iron sights. This makes for a faithful replica which finds itself with a good all round size that’s well suited to whichever environment you find yourself in.

The Internals
The M920A uses DE’s Version 2 Gearbox which features a Quick Change Spring system and comes equipped with EShooters Kestral V2 Electronic Control System. This Control System gives you a wide variety of features that enhance performance and helps you get the most out of your AEG all from an App on your phone! The Kestral V2 allows you to adjust the trigger sensitivity, change the fire mode for both the Semi and Auto selector position, enable and adjust Pre-Cocking as well as having built in motor and battery protection (For a full list of features, Please look up the Kestral V2 product). Outside of these features, this Version 2 Gearbox uses 8mm Ball Bearings alongside standard Version 2 components. This is paired with DE’s rotary hop up unit with a standard AEG hop rubber and nub set up.
These internals give good reliable performance with the added benefit of a control system and where this gearbox is compatible with numerous after market parts, you have the ability to upgrade and further enhance the characteristics you desire in the future.
